NAP

An extension of the acronym NAP are the words: Name, Address and Phone Number, and the term itself refers to an entry containing company data that is posted on external portals. It most often takes the form of a simple business card, which is why it is just as often referred to as a NAP business card.

A publication of this type should contain at least the above-mentioned data: name, address and contact details. However, it is suggested that the NAP should also contain other information about the business: its description, a link to its website, its e-mail address, its range of services or its opening hours. It is also advisable to include in the business card any other matter that may be useful to potential customers.

Placing NAP business cards on portals that are company databases, industry websites or regional websites supports the local positioning of the company and is often an element of SEO optimisation.
