iki | 行き | Japanese aesthetic that might be translated “refined spontaneity”. It suggests that people and objects are more attractive when they have a creative and unpredictable quality that is constrained by culture. Iki is an expression of simplicity, sophistication, spontaneity and originality |
Kaizen | カイゼン | is the Japanese word for “improvement”, also a business philosophy of continuous improvement of working practices, personal efficiency |

mandala | 曼荼羅 | It’s a symbolic representation of the universe with an inner and outer world. Also it appears to us in all aspects of life encompassing friends, family and communities. The mandala is a square with four gates containing a circle with a central point and symbolizing the notion that life is never ending |
Meiji | 明治 | is a Japanese era which extended from October 23, 1868, to July 30, 1912. Japan was ruled by the emperor Meiji Tenno and represents fundamental changes affected its social structure, internal politics, economy, military , modernization and westernization of the country |
ninja | 忍者 | was a covert agent in feudal Japan. The functions of a ninja included espionage, sabotage, infiltartion, assasination. Their covert methods of waging irregular warrfare were deemed dishonorable and beneath the honor of the samurai |
origami | 折り紙 | the Japanese art of folding paper into decorative shapes and figures |
reigi | 礼儀 | the Japanese rule of kindness represented by Samurai |
renji | レンジ | a handheld fan using by Japanese ladies to cover their faces |

yin and yang | 陰陽 | it is a traditional Japanese esteric cosmology introduced into Japan at the beginnign of the 6th century. Ying and Yang describes how seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world |
yugen | 幽玄 | it is a sensation that follows the observation of art. It evokes more internal feelings and observations |
