Sub-page link extensions

Subpage link extensions are one type of text ad extension created in the Google Ads tool. This type of creative variety is not only a way to stand out from the competition, but also to make it easier for users to reach specific places within the website.

Link extensions can be displayed in several ways, but they always appear below the headline and the content of the ad itself. The form of display depends, among other things, on the type of device the user is using and the algorithm of the Google Ads system. In its classic form, extensions consist of 2, 4 or 6 headlines (which are also links to specific subpages) and the corresponding two lines of advertising content for each headline.

Adding link extensions to subpages increases the CTR of the ad and, what is more, the space thus allocated is a great idea for providing Internet users with additional information.
