Description meta

Descripton tag is one of the three meta tags (next to title i keywords), whose task is to provide basic information about a given website. The tag is used to present a description of the displayed page to the search engine, so its content is usually limited. Although the content of the description tag tag content does not affect the indexing of a page, but it does have a significant impact on the behaviour of users browsing search results. In many cases, it is the appropriate description of the site that influences the decision to click on a selected link.

It is worth knowing that even when we complete the content of a tag, search engine robots will not always respect its content. This may happen if they consider it to be inconsistent with what is actually found on the site. In this case, search engines will copy and display portions of the text that have been placed on the page.
